An emergent meeting of the Executive Committee of the Sindh High Court Bar Association was held with its President Mr. Abrar Hasan in the Chair. The following resolution was passed. RESOLUTION Resolved that in the considered opinion of this Association, the President of Pakistan is not constitutionally authorized to suspend the Chief Justice of Pakistan. Further the allegations leveled against the Chief Justice of Pakistan are malafide and motivated. Judiciary, Executive and Legislature being the three organs of the State derive their sovereignty from the Constitution. In fact the judiciary has an edge, over the Executive and legislature. Therefore, such an action taken by dint of force against the head of judiciary is not only illegal immoral un-constitutional but also uncivilized.
